Yoooooo beauuuuttttyyyyyyy

I was at the Bridge for Chelsea v Liverpool earlier this season - one of the most gut-turningly rubbish games I’ve ever witnessed.
Just noticed the BBC’s list of “web luminaries” includes Timbl, Wendy Hall, Kai-Fu Lee, Robert Cailliau, PARC dude… and Scoble. Sigh.
Jesus Christ, it’s miserable out there.
My life should a have a 70s wah wah pedal soundtrack.
ROFL →
There’s something uniquely satisfying about getting a huge LOLcat into the paper.
Boston loves Phil Collins.
Opens Flickr mail: “Hi, I’ve used your picture in my blog post about genital herpes, hope you don’t mind!”
Anonymous protesting during final ROFLCon session - surely just physical spam?
Just got a bit too close to Tron Guy’s dance belt. Need to have a sit down before I can continue. #roflcon
ROFLCon proves own thesis about being famous to 15 people. There’s a panel on “making it big” full of people I’VE NEVER HEARD OF #roflcon
So far: Cheezburger, Reddit, One Red Paperclip, Tron Guy, Where the Hell is Matt? and much, much more. This is beyond awesome.
O hai, ROFLCon!
Yesterday I was in Brighton eating rabbits, today I am in Boston dipping my hands in engineered slime.
Late night Brighton mafia tryst: if you weren’t there, we’re not telling you. But booze and meat was enjoyed, that’s all I can say.
Still waiting. I want to go to the pub!
Nobody happens to be watching the Champions League match in Brighton tonight, do they?
Flat Earth revisited →
Brain creaking.
You know when a technology has really hit the... →
The train back to the shire is busier than usual. This makes me highly suspicious.

Knuckling down for the rest of the day.
Go go, GameCamp - tickets available from Monday http://icanhaz.com/GameCamp08
I got high fived by someone from Club Penguin yesterday. Srsly.
Our lonely planet, 2: double axis →
Secret plan about to be executed. Meanwhile, I am organising stuff to do in Boston next week. Unfeasibly squeeee about it all, you know.
Weird sounding headline on the Daily Mail’s splash today - “Half the country hasn’t an NHS dentist”.
Heading into London for a couple of hours. If all goes well, the secret plan will be revealed later today!
Apprentice-watchers (and there are plenty) make sure you watch it along with Anna’s liveblog: it’s extra value http://icanhaz.com/suralan
I’m not sure I have the ability to panic, but if I did, I’d be doing it now.
Preparing to scoff familial tea + cake in Bill’s.
‘Skin cancer is now following you on Twitter!’. Wow. The singularity is near if diseases are getting their own social media presence.
It’s come to this. I’m forced to trawl the torrents for B-movies. It’s for research purposes, you understand.
Our lonely planet, 1: context →
Blockbuster, you suck.
Gah! My Amazon order is being held back by a tricksy DVD. Without a swift delivery win, my plans for the week may be in ruins!
Radio 5 gold: Motson praises Collymore for using the word “conduit”. “Your vocabulary has always amazed me… it’s good to hear a new word.”
Arse.
Anybody want to see David Levy talking robots at the ICA tonight? I booked a ticket, but can’t go after all: http://icanhaz.com/roboluv
I had to allow myself a wry smile this morning, but kudos to @tim for the Highfield story. Nice start to the new job, Bradshaw!
Anybody willing to talk to me about being pickpocketed or mugged for their mobile phone, MP3 player, PSP etc? D message if so.
Tonight’s schedule: (1) nom nom nom (2) die of cheese poisoning. Excellent.
