Three more commutes.
Spent the day swimming around admin and organising. Feel like I haven’t done any proper work - you know, the bit with the writing - forever.
“North Korean scientists have developed a new kind of noodle that delays feelings of hunger”. That little innovation’s called FOOD, right?
several days offline and pile of email is sky high. Going to delete EVERYTHING in my inbox that’s more than a few days old. Wee!
The Olympic BMX racing track looks suspiciously like it’s been lifted out of MarioKart.
Sorry people - the bliprage has hit me. Please, no more ♫♪ LISTEN TO MY STATION ON COCK.FM!!!!! ♪♪
Just watching Ohuruogu win the 400m again - gives me that shivery feeling that only great sporting moments seem to elicit.
Thanks everybody for all your kind comments - we are understandably excited about the move. Will miss Blighty, but it’s not forever.
We’re moving… to San Francisco →
My big news is finally public: we’re moving to San Francisco in a couple of weeks! http://www.bobbiejohnson.org/?p=1238
I do not like having the stuff I do described as ‘outputs’ by consultobots.
Weird bug: First the older button disappears. Returns, but now just shows one person’s tweets when I click it. Twitter’s all over the shop.
Halfway to the Shire already.
Sometimes I look at the world and I despair. Then I decide to shout COCK OFF, have a drink and go to bed. It’s much better that way.
Getting going today is proving very difficult.
The little hand on the clock is fast approaching BEER.
Admission: I find Gordon Ramsay endlessly amusing. Which is one reason this made me laugh: http://littlegordon.com/
My download speed’s hitting top speed of 60Kbps. Been like this for ages; thank crikey I’m leaving Virgin Media, because the service is arse
Thanks! I’ll post responses on Gdn shortly. Talked to Biz about this ages ago; too many networks in UK, charging too much for short codes.
Me? I got SMS from a few critical users, and DMs - the selling points for me. Reckon it’s Valleythink to imagine it’s not a terrible loss.
OK people: you can no longer receive any Twitter SMS updates in the UK. What’s your reaction? Is it too much of a downgrade?

Working from home, fiddling with stuff and casting around for ideas.
I think he meant $1,000 for 250 messages a week. That works out at (hang on) 3.8p per text sent out by Twitter by my calculations.
Looks like I’ve caught that lurgy @aleksk was talking about. Great timing. Preparing an IV of Lemsip and working from under the duvet.
Phelps’ awesome daily diet: 5 ham/cheese/egg sarnies, omelette, toast, pancakes, 1kg pasta, pizza. Plus drinks! http://icanhaz.com/calorific

The internet is paining me right now. Can’t see much, can’t do much.
Gah! Gmail appears to have gone tits up.
When exactly did TV news become a parody of itself? Note to producers: Chris Morris did it already, and he *meant* to be funny.
Considering whether i could have a future in boxing - london 2012 and all that. Is there a flabweight class?
Long afternoon locked in the studio with @aleksk and @jemimakiss - now a free man!
Just heard Flickr get a mention on Radio 5.
Ha! Just found the letter from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport when they rejected my application to be chairman of the BBC.
A cinema chain is trialling a ban on popcorn, after customers complained that it was too noisy and messy. http://icanhaz.com/notpop
Apparently they received it after the closing date. I’m sure it had nothing to do with being a piss-take.
When life’s a bit too much… →
Books, meet boxes.
Wet, tired, but still not home. At least the train journey gives me time to think about the cup of tea i’m going to have at the other end.

Where’s this flipping thunderstorm, then?
Well, that answered my question pretty quickly.
